Dingwall Trust is embracing Mental Health Awareness Week 2020. Never has it been more important to pay attention to our mental health in these uncertain times of Covid-19 and the upheaval the pandemic has wrought.

Using the Sir Mason Durie’s description of mental health as the floor, and walls of a wharenui, Te Whare Tapa Wha we are focusing on a different pillar each day. Starting with Taha whanau (family and social), then Taha wairua (spiritual), followed by Whenua (land, roots) then Taha tinana (physical), and finishing with Taha hinengaro (mental and emotional). http://www.mhaw.nz

One of our activities this week is our Random Act of Kindness campaign. Staff members are allocated a colleague to lavish small acts of generosity or care upon. It’s amazing how small gestures of appreciation can boost wellbeing!
