The children and caregivers in isolation at Dingwall, and support staff at home in their bubbles, were among those honouring our fallen service men and women this morning. The caregivers will hold two services today. The children and young people spent yesterday creating crosses and poppies.
Anzac Day is especially poignant at Dingwall Trust as its inception by David Dingwall was born out of the devastation wrought by WWI and the need to support children and families who had lost loved ones. Then, many of the early residents went on to serve during WWII and other conflicts such as the Korean War, some making the ultimate sacrifice.
Those fallen have their names inscribed on the honours board at Dingwall and will live forever in our hearts and memories.
We will remember them.
