Residential House Parent & Relief Caregivers
Special Person / Couple NeededWe are always looking for special people or couples to become caregivers with us. We may not need you immediately but can offer training to take vacancies as they arise. Although we do not have a high staff turnover, we do have new opportunities arising periodically and relief care work.
Our care staff provide care for approximately seven school aged children. It is a lifestyle commitment to act in-loco-parentis, so your role would be to support children in their family life seven days a week. There is a strong supportive organisational structure in place including an assistant Monday to Friday. There is one afternoon/evening off each week when an assistant and a relief person runs the house and caregivers have some weekends and six weeks holiday per annum. We have a village-like atmosphere with other caregivers and children, all supported with admin and social work staff.
Providing care to children who cannot remain with their families is a chance to really make a difference, if you relate well to children and want to work with them for their future, the rewards are great.
If you are interested in joining the Dingwall Trust please apply in and include a CV.
